Volleyball action resumes with clash of titans

Volleyball league action resumes in Jwaneng and Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB) on Labour Day after a short break. In the game of the weekend, leading women's teams, Mafolofolo and Kalavango face each other at the Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB) in Mogoditshane on Sunday.

Both teams have a number of new players that are ready for battle. Nearly half of the Mafolofolo team is new though the debutants have settled in well.

The gap created by the departure of experienced players has not been felt, although there are fears that the young recruits might wilt under pressure as the league progresses. Mafolofolo has won the two games it has played to date.
