Triple jumper leaves for US, blasts BAA

Triple jumper, Goabaone Mosheleketi left for Kentucky in the United States of America (USA) on Monday to further his career and studies, but fired parting shots at the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA).

Mosheleketi, who will be based at Kentucky’s Lindsey Wilson College accused the athletics mother body of failing to support him on his move.

But BAA secretary general, Kebaitse Legojane said they were unaware that Mosheleketi was going to the US. “He once came to us asking for our assistance but he ended up withdrawing his request saying he is going to seek for help from the ministry (sport),” he said.
