One of table tennis’ greatest players, Matshidiso Osi-Moses has passed on after a short illness on Saturday. The Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) confirmed the former number one player’s passing at the Gaborone Private Hospital (GPH).

“It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of a great icon of our sport, Mrs Matshidiso Moses (nee Osi).  Tshidi has been serving as an assistant junior national team coach and as a secretary general for her beloved Smash Maniacs. 

As a player, Matshidiso had longevity and played at the highest level, winning countless medals and accolades.
