Township Rollers continued to set the pace in the be MOBILE Premier League when they beat Police XI 2-0 at the UB Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The game was initially pencilled for Friday but was moved because of rainy weather.

After a poor first half, Rollers bounced back to take control of the game and grab maximum points. Rollers' coach Rahman Gumbo introduced former Gaborone United (GU) attacking midfielder Thando 'Matsau' Moreki at the start of the second half for the ineffective Aubrey Kebonnetse and this changed the complexion of the game. The speedy Moreki made an immediate impact much to the delight of Rollers' supporters who had watched with concern as their team was put on the back-foot for most of the first half.

In the 60th minute, Moreki could have given his side the lead but failed to make the right connection after a delightful cross from the left.
