Rampant Chiefs Humiliate GU

Mochudi Centre Chiefs extended their log leadership after whitewashing Gaborone United (GU) 4-0 in a one-sided Mascom Premier League affair at the National Stadium on Friday night.

It was class and cohesion that won the game for Magosi. Chiefs ran riot, capitalising on blunders committed by the sluggish GU rearguard. Oteng "OT" Moalosi opened Magosi's scoring account in the 39th minute with a misty goal.

The goal which did not kiss the back of the net resulted from a commotion in the penalty box. Spectators only got to learn that it was a goal when referee Joshua Bondo signalled for a goal and Chiefs' players and supporters ruptured into a celebration frenzy.
