Prisons XI Back In Contention

Prisons XI revived their title aspirations with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over fellow contenders Black Peril at SSG Ground in Gaborone on Sunday.

The results have made the First Division South League interesting after Letlapeng were beaten 2-1 by struggling Young Strikers.

Although Peril are still top of the log, the results mean that Prisons XI return to second spot with a three-point difference from the leaders. The two teams started quickly as they searched for an early goal but without good direction it was obvious that goals would be elusive in the early stages of the game.
