“The games would also contribute economically to the country through sports tourism as the visiting countries would be lodging in the area. The games are also meant to showcase the cultural diversity in the country. The tournament attracts teams from Botswana, Lesotho and Namibia while South Africa cancelled its participation at the last minute for unexplained reasons.
