Police V continue winning ways

Police V ladies continued with their winning ways when they dismissed stubborn Dolphins 74-45 in an exciting Botswana Basketball League encounter played over the weekend at the UB Courts. The win made it two straight wins for them in the new season, marking a good start for the former national champions.

It was a close encounter from the opening quarter right to the end.

The James Kalebwe-coached side had Kesa Motswagole and Kamogelo Madikwe to thank after they collectively sunk in six three pointers that totaled 18 points for them. But Dolphins could have leveled and perhaps gone on to win the game if they had been a little accurate on the free throw. Dolphins got into the foul line 32 times and only managed to convert 12 times. Had they scored more than that they could have closed that gap, but some poor shooting on the free throw line cost them the game.
