Leroy Pearmain is taking his golf career a step further as he aims to turn professional (pro) next year. The golfer, who blazed the trail from a young age, has been a dominant force in the amateur circles and feels it is now time to take his game a level higher. Pearmain told Mmegi Sport this week that playing professional golf has been his childhood dream.

“I am deeply in love with golf and if there is one thing that I would like to do for the rest of my life, that would be playing golf on tour,” he said.

Pearmain said golf is like being an entrepreneur in the world of sport. He said all the success comes from creating new possibilities.
