P50,000 wait for First Division clubs is over

FRANCISTOWN: After over a month of waiting, First Division North League teams have received their P50,000 grants from the competition’s sponsor, Debswana. First Division chairperson, Eatametse Olopeng told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the money was credited to the clubs’ accounts on Tuesday.

The money that will be used to pay referees has been banked in the First Division North League committee account.

Olopeng said the referees have been allocated P145,000 by the league sponsor.
