Newly appointed Women and Sport Botswana (WASBO) chairperson, Grace Muzila, has promised to deliver on the mandate given to her committee.

Muzila, together with nine others, were appointed by the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) as the new executive committee of WASBO.  Following her appointment, Muzila told delegates at their annual general meeting (AGM) that the previous committee did well and promised to carry on where they left off.

She emphasised the need to work as a team. “The challenge is always implementation and not getting the results we intended. For us to get the results we want, we have to share a vision,” he said. She urged everyone at the meeting to play their roles for the development of sport. “We will try to walk the path. It will be thorny but we will succeed. I will make sure the voice of women is heard in sport,” she said.
