Sharps Shooting Stars maintained their good run and intensified their quest for promotion to the elite league after they beat Lesirane 2-0 in the Debswana First Division South League match played in Mogoditshane.

Former Zebras striker, Moemedi ‘Jomo’ Moatlhaping once again inspired the Old Naledi-based side when he opened the scoring with a free kick in the first half.

Thoto Ntsie then headed into his own net trying to defend a cross. Moatlhaping scored in the 12th minute although the general feeling was that Sharps goalkeeper, should have done better to save the effort. Sharps scored the second in the 28th minute through Ntsie’s headed effort.
