Mega Com tops Francistown Third Division

FRANCISTOWN: Barely a year after its formation, Mega Com Safaris has emerged as a force in the Third Division North League. The greenhorns lead the log with 27 points - three ahead of second-placed Young City from 10 games.

The founder of the club Michael Belebese said he is impressed with the performance so far. "We have lost only one game out of the 10 we have played so far. I am confident that we will win our game against Donga Initiates this weekend," Belebese said. "I do not see any team that can stand in our way to gain promotion at the end of the season," he added.

At the beginning of the season, Belebese, a former policeman said the target was to get to the First Division as quickly as possible.
"I know there are obstacles that may impede our progress, but as a hunter, when you go out on a hunting expedition, you aim to kill. That is what I am doing," he said in a previous interview with Mmegi Sport.
