Maposa returns to Chiefs' fold

Mochudi Centre Chiefs have confirmed that their former goalkeeper, Noah Maposa would rejoin the club next week after spending almost eight months at South African First Division side, Bay United.

Maposa and ex-Chiefs' captain Pontsho Moloi were loaned to Bay United at the start of the season at the request of the club's Botswana coach, David Bright.

After the Port Elizabeth-based side failed to make it to the Premier League play-offs last weekend, Chiefs' spokesperson Clifford Mogomotsi said yesterday that talks are at an advanced stage to have the players back. "We understand that they (Bay United) will be training until next Friday and after that, the players would return home.
