Following the passing on of one of the country’s greatest players, Matshidiso Osi-Moses recently, the Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) president, Lesego Maifala is likely to be unchallenged in next month’s election.

Osi-Moses was laid to rest last weekend after passing on a fortnight ago at  Gaborone Private Hospital. She had shown intentions to challenge for the top post.

Maifala, who has faced criticism for his leadership style at times, has long announced his intention to seek another term.
