The hosting of the ongoing Netball World Youth qualifiers will serve as a learning curve, Botswana Netball Association (BONA) president, Tebogo Sebego-Lebotse said.

This comes amid reports some South African officials including Netball South Africa chief executive officer (CEO) Blanche de La Guerre left for their country as they were not impressed by the organisation of the event.

“As far I know there were no issues.   They left because they had other engagements back home and one of their regions had lost two officials in a car accident coming from a netball meeting,” she said.
