Karate committee resigns en masse

Hardly six months into office, four members of the Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) executive committee resigned yesterday. Those who quit are public relations officer, Sensei Andrew Dobolo, Sempai Lere Basupang (vice president-administration), Sempai Kemmonye Setalemotse (vice secretary general), and Sempai Bontle Charles (treasurer).

According to information reaching Mmegi Sport, the only committee members remaining is president Tshepo Bathai, vice president-technical Sensei Chris Ponatshego and secretary general, Sensei Phineas Motseolapile.

Hayashi-Ha Do Botswana chief instructor, Sensei Mpho Bakwadi said they have not been officially informed about the resignations. Bakwadi said he, however heard the rumors and if they are true, BOKA executive is non-existent. He pointed out that four was a huge number.
