Extension Gunners supporters will elect a new executive committee next month as the term for the current office bearers comes to an end. The elective annual general meeting (AGM) has been set for July 24, 2021, in Lobatse where the committee members and branch chairpersons will attend in-person.

Ordinary members of the club will, on the other hand, attend virtually at designated branch venues. The current committee led by chairperson, George Kerekang has been holding fort on an interim basis since November 2019 after ousting the previous administration led by Tariq Babitseng.

The previous committee left following internal squabbles, which emanated from among other things, the welfare of players. There were reports at the time that there was no smooth handover between the two committees including the club’s bank accounts.
