Gumbo moves to Chiefs

Township Rollers' coach, Rahman Gumbo is said to have joined Mochudi Centre Chiefs although both clubs refused to confirm the development. It is understood that Gumbo signed a two-year contract with Magosi this week.

Gumbo joined Rollers two seasons ago from a club in Malawi and guided them to the league and Coca-Cola Cup double last season.

Early this week, he was reported to be negotiating with Chiefs whose hopes of re-hiring Mike 'Dubula Dubula' Sithole to replace Wesley Mondo were dashed by Gaborone United. Gumbo has a good title-winning record and Rollers' fans had hoped that he would help them retain the crowns they lifted last year.
