FRANCISTOWN: ECCO City Greens coach Oupa Kowa is confident that the Independence Cup will help boost the ailing confidence among his troops. ECCO defended the Independence Cup winners on Tuesday after overcoming cross-town rivals TAFIC 3-0 in a one sided clash at the Francistown Stadium.

“Already there has been a change of attitude from the players since the Independence Cup began. I hope winning the cup will help change the fortunes of the team and boost the morale of the players. “The players were even telling me that they endured poor form leading to their Independence

Cup triumph last year, but their form changed for the better after they won the cup. I hope winning the cup will do wonders again for the team this season,” Kowa said.
