Eagles FC appeal hearing today

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee (DC) will today at 5:30 pm hear Division One outfit Sladden Eagles' appeal.

The Francistown Regional Football Association (FRAFA) referred the matter to the committee in Gaborone last week.

The club had 12 points deducted for failure to pay P2, 000 fine for violence in their two first round matches in Mathangwane against Peace Lovers and Tonota- based outfit, Blue Birds. The club did not pay the fine within the stipulated 14 days. But the Eagles are appealing the case because they believe the league committee is biased, as there are teams that have not paid fines imposed on them last season and this year.
