Landless: BRU wants to build a stadium but their piece of land has been repossessed

The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) has been left in a lurch after finding out that a piece of land where they intended to construct a statement has been repossessed.

In 2015, the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) allocated a piece of land to the BRU, but years passed by without any developments.

A few weeks ago, the BRU made a follow up on the plot only to be informed that it has been taken back. Rugby has been advised to apply for another plot. Simon Kanaimba who has been tasked with overseeing the project said they submitted a
