FRANCISTOWN: Sua Flamingos have rocked the Matjimenyenga boat with interest in prized talisman, Mbatshi Machongo. In fact, the Sowa Town outfit says it has agreed terms with the player. But TAFIC are not amused, accusing their rivals of violating procedure.

The nippy number 10 has been instrumental in Matjimenyenga’s resurgence in the first round of the Debswana First Division North campaign helping his side to a pole position finish ahead of the second round. Machongo also helped TAFIC to the Francistown BOT50 Independence title.

Flamingo’s chairperson, Bashi Joseph said besides Machongo they have expressed interest in TAFIC’s left back, Motseoatile Elijah and six other players from different teams. He said their intention is to finish the recruitment process soon and focus on preparing for the second round.
