Botswana on Zika alert ahead of Olympics

Botswana intends to send around 20 athletes and officials to the sport’s biggest global showpiece.
The Zika virus, spread through mosquito bites, has been blamed for thousands of babies born with crippling birth defects.
While it is widely acknowledged that Khama holds the title of Kgosi, the government’s failure to properly gazette his recognition has raised serious concerns about adherence to legal procedures and the credibility of traditional leadership.
