It may appear like a David versus Goliath clash as league champions, Township Rollers take on newly promoted BR Highlanders at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon. However, Mag Stimela have over the years positioned themselves as Popa’s hoodoo side.

Rollers have failed to beat their opponents in the last three encounters, managing just a point from a possible nine.

Highlanders for the first time beat Rollers 3-1 in March 2015, before the two sides played to a 1-1 draw in August 2015. It was the Mahalapye- based side who ran out as 2-1 victors in the two teams’ last encounter played at the Molepolole pitch before they were relegated to the first division in 2016.
