BCA bats away cricket concerns

Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) fixtures and publicity secretary, Sumod Damodar has refuted allegations that all is not well within the sport.

There are reports that a concerned group of cricketers wants to confront the administration over a litany of challenges that the game faces.

“We feel sidelined, there is a lot that is not going well. Local cricketers must be given a significant role in the running of the game. There is favouritism in certain aspects like picking cricketers for scholarships,” the source said.
