The Bagwasi boxing brothers, Kabelo and Kagiso, were outstanding as Botswana went down to visiting Lesotho in an international friendly at SSKB used as preparation for next month’s Zone IV Games in South Africa. Botswana, who fielded three rookies for the friendly, lost the first three bouts before the Bagwasi brothers brought Botswana back into contention with successive wins.

A total of seven bouts were played with the visitors winning four of those.

Teenage pugilist Tefo Rammupudu came up against Nkululeko Suntele in the opening 52kg bout and was beaten all systems out.
