Bafana, Zebras game in doubt

South Africa Football Association (SAFA) will decide tomorrow whether or not they will pull Bafana Bafana out of the COSAFA Castle Cup semi-final date against Botswana scheduled for Super Stadium on Saturday.

The highly-anticipated game still hangs in the balance as the Premier Soccer League (PSL) remains adamant they will not postpone the Telkom Knockout Cup games set this weekend so as to allow players to join the Bafana camp ahead of the game. Bafana squad manager, Sipho Nkumane says so far preparations are going well and they are waiting for players to report for camp in Pretoria tomorrow.

"The organisers have expressed concern about Bafana's participations in the tournament and have requested a meeting with us on Wednesday. They want to know whether there is the possibility of South Africa failing to honour their engagement," he said.
