Woman gets one year for killing ex-boyfriend

FRANCISTOWN: A Gojwane woman who was convicted of killing her ex-boyfriend in 2011 was yesterday sentenced to four years in jail for the offence.

 

However, Justice Phadi Solomon reduced her sentence by two years on condition that she does not commit the same offence within three years. The judge also took 10 months from her sentence as she had already spent that period in jail before and after she was convicted of the offence.
