Varsities' debating tourney around the corner

Preparations for the World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) slated for December this year are at an advanced stage, according to the organisers.

The event will attract 1,500 debaters from 63 countries to Botswana.

At a stakeholders meeting held in Gaborone over the weekend, organisers of the world famous event said they have managed to get some assistance from some government departments whilst some corporate sector players have pledged to help.
