In court papers filed in February, Tiego says their marriage has broken down irretrievably and that they have reached a settlement on how to divide their estate and have resolved to live separate lives. The two were married in 2005 in-community-of-property and the divorce is uncontested.
When the case was called in court on Friday there was confusion as to what should happen as neither Tiego nor his wife were present. However, one of the court officers told Justice Onkemetse Tshosa that Tiego had indicated that he was withdrawing the divorce. The case was postponed to a later date.
