The man acting as the mascot for the just ended Africa Youth Games, Tshuku was reportedly rushed to Gaborone Private Hospital (GPH) Intensive Care Unit after he ran out of air and suffocated during his routine walk-abouts at the games on Wednesday.

Yesterday BAYGOC CEO Tuelo Serufho confirmed that Tshuku was rushed to GPH as a result of a previous illness that he failed to disclose to the Games’ organisers.

He also stated that the original Tshuku had to be replaced by a standby mascot for the rest of the games.
