MOGOROSI: Two of the three Gaborone Dam victims were buried over the weekend in a funeral full of emotions. One of the two, Moganetsi Goitsemang was buried in his home village, Mogorosi, amid fears that his death will leave his family in abject poverty as he was the sole breadwinner.

His family is hoping that one day they would get to understand what led to the untimely death of Goitsemang. His body was open for public viewing before he was taken to his resting place. The family is still searching for answers which the Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) could not provide. Goitsemang was among the three WUC employees who went missing at the Gaborone Dam two weeks ago and found dead in the water last week.

His paternal uncle, Joseph Lenamile, vented his frustrations at the way the corporation is handling the matter. Lenamile said they were hoping that the corporation would give them answers that would give them closure but was disappointed that they could not get anything. "We are not satisfied with answers that we get from the WUC. We were hoping that by now they would have something concrete for us. As you can see, we have nothing," Lenamile said disappointedly.
