Student faces murder of fellow student

FRANCISTOWN: An 18-year-old Form Five student at Nata Senior Secondary School was granted P2,000 bail on Monday for allegedly beating a fellow student to death.

Kebonye Nyeku is alleged to have beaten Emmanuel Nyaakwa with fists and kicks on July 31, after a misunderstanding, resulting in the latter being taken to a clinic in the village where he later passed away.

On Monday, Police Sub Inspector, Thulaganyo Pitso told Chief Magistrate, Gaedupe Makgato, that the State would call eight witnesses to testify in the matter.
