The committee's chairperson, Mephato Reatile, confirmed yesterday that Sir Ketumile would give evidence this morning.

Masire is a cattle baron and a feedlotter. Fischer said as a statutory corporation without share capital, the BMC has no shareholders but is subject to the will of Parliament in terms of amendments to the BMC Act. "The BMC, therefore, is neither owned by government nor by producers but notionally owns itself," said Fischer.
