Bakgatla royal, Bana Sekai has been given up to December 15, 2016 to look for a new legal representative.

Gaborone regional magistrate Lentlhabetse Willie yesterday granted Sekai two months to look for a new attorney after his former lawyer Kgosietsile Ngakaagae was barred from representing him in a matter by the same court.

Ngakaagae was barred from representing Sekai back in September citing that he is conflicted in the long dragging case involving victims of flogging in Mochudi in 2010. The court ruled that it was unethical and unacceptable for Ngakaagae to represent Sekai, as he was once the prosecutor in the same case. The court gave Sekai 14 days to appeal the ruling.
