PALAPYE: This year’s Annual General Meeting of the Security Association of Botswana was postponed after members could not form a quorum last weekend.

The AGM was planned to take place in Palapye where only 18 members of the association turned up, a shortfall of  53.

Says Article 7.3.9 of SAB’s constitution: “The quorum at all general meetings shall be not less than one third of the full and associate members attending by representative or by proxy, and who are present 30 minutes after the time notified for the meeting or within such other time as may be agreed by all members then present.”
