President Masisi Addresses First Press Conference

President Mokgweetsi Masisi will on Wednesday address a press conference flanked by his Cabinet at the Mass Media Complex.

This will be an exciting opportunity for journalists as the last time a sitting President addressed a press conference was more than a decade ago.

His predecessor, former president Ian Khama made public his disdain for the local media, describing it as the worst.  Khama was hardly accessible to the local press. Masisi has since assuming office at least shown his appreciation of the media.
