Pedestrian dies in a road mishap

A man in his 30s died instantly after he was hit by a car while attempting to cross the road opposite the DIS office in Sebele along the A1 road Saturday night. According to the police, the accident was reported around 11:30pm.

Broadhurst Police Station Commander, Superintendent Obusitwe Lokae said the accident occurred when the 44-year-old man, who was driving north from south, hit on the victim suspected to have been attempting to cross the road.

“We do not really know what transpired and where the victim was coming from or going to that late in that area especially that there are no residential places in that area for him to end up being hit a car.
