Orange Fosters Youth ICT Entrepreneurship In Thamaga

Orange Botswana recently announced the availability of its 3G technology in Thamaga and surrounding areas.

Speaking at a dinner held in honour of the World Telecommunications and Information Society Day, director of corporate affairs, Lepata Mafa-Nthomola said that Orange recently increased its broadband coverage in Thamaga and upgraded the existing 2G network technology to the faster 3G one

Mafa-Nthomola said that as players and contributors in the industry it is the responsibility of all network providers to find ways of unlocking the potential of ICT so that young innovators, entrepreneurs, and start-ups can innovative and develop practical solutions to the social and economic challenges in the country.
