Opposition MPs take swipe at Molefhi

Parliament adjourned last Wednesday with opposition MPs taking pot shots at Transport and Communications Minister Nonofo Molefhi over the amendment of the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) Bill.

Leader of Opposition, Dumelang Saleshando questioned ministers' involvement in committees when they know very well that they are not conversant with the respective mandates of the said bodies.

Citing himself as an example, Saleshando said he cannot lead a broadcasting or telecommunications appeals committee because he does not have expertise in the field.
