Ntuane wants the opposition punished for despising constituency tournaments

The Member of Parliament for Bonnington South and also candidate for the 2014 general elections has warned teams competing in constituency tournaments to vote properly in the upcoming general elections or else their popular tournaments might be stopped by the opposition if it comes to power.

Ntuane was addressing  members of the  various teams at Mma Masire Grounds and  Bophirima Primary School  on May 18, 2014.

A statement from his office, issued yesterday, says Ntuane  informed  players and team officials that  the opposition parties  have  stated in the past, and in forums such as parliament,   that  constituency  tournaments are a waste of  money and President Ian Khama’s  populist project and resources committed to  them can be better  utilised elsewhere.
