No arrest yet in Desert Race killing

Police probing the death of a 24-year-old woman of Sesung village who was allegedly murdered in Jwaneng last weekend said they have no leads yet in the case.

The police statement comes after illegitimate reports on social media suggested that suspects have been identified and arrested in relation to the matter.

The young woman was found dead, naked and dumped in the bush in the early hours of Sunday of the annual 1,000km Desert Race competition, otherwise popularly known as Mantshwabisi, in Jwaneng.
