FRANCISTOWN: The boys hostels at Nata Senior Secondary School were engulfed in inferno late last night, Monitor Online has learnt.

This is the second fire incident to affect the boys hostels at the school. According to Nata Police station commander, Superintendent Mokopi Nawa, there were no casualties. The police boss added investigations are ongoing to figure out what could have caused the fire. “The fire engulfed the second floor and did not affect the ground and first floors,” Nawa told Mmegi Online, adding investigations are still at a preliminary stage and the real cause of the incident is still unknown.

Unconfirmed reports are that the school waited for two hours for the fire department to arrive at the scene from Sowa Town.
