Murder accused claims innocence

FRANCISTOWN: A Zimbabwean man accused of murder has claimed that the investigating officer planted the knife allegedly used to commit murder in his pocket in order to falsely incriminate him.

The accused, Prince Moyo, 24, of Maboledi village in Zimbabwe allegedly murdered Kago Keletse last year on Independence Day at a popular entertainment spot in Matsiloje village, approximately 45 kilometres east of Francistown. 

Moyo told magistrate Kaveri Kapeko that he knows nothing about the murder adding that the police found no knife in his possession after he was arrested.
