Mugabe faces possible impeachment

Political analyst, Anthony Morima says it is best for Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, 93, to opt to resign from his seat than to be impeached by Parliament.

Mugabe was yesterday sacked by his party, Zanu PF, as the party leader, while his wife Grace Mugabe was expelled from the governing political group.

Zimbabwe’s ruling Zanu PF yesterday convened a special central committee meeting in which they decided Mugabe’s fate in Harare, Zimbabwe.  Mugabe’s former Vice President (VP), Emmerson Mnangagwa will replace Mugabe as Zanu PF’s leader of 37 years.
