More BDP mekoko sprout in Francistown

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor for Kanana in Francistown, Ace Ntheetsang, has confirmed that he will contest the general elections as an independent candidate. For weeks, the councillor has kept people guessing about his political future after he lost the BDP primaries to Cornelius Gopolang in October.

 

But yesterday, he said he will be a mekoko because he is unhappy with the way the party primaries were conducted. “There were a lot of irregularities at the primaries.
