Modubule to join BMD tomorrow?

Member of Parliament for Lobatse, Nehemiah Modubule yesterday moved a step closer to aligning himself with a major political party when he consulted Lobatse residents about his political future at Bothakga Primary School in Lobatse. Ever since he was expelled from the Botswana National Front (BNF) Modubule has been without a political home.

Last year he made history when he became the first Independent Candidate to be elected to parliament.

At the well-attended consultation meeting yesterday Modubule informed his constituents that he had given up on the BNF, who he characterised as a party that is not serious as typified by the their legal battles even when they go into an elective congress.
