MISA Botswana has new National Director

The Media Institute of Southern Africa (Botswana Chapter) is pleased to announce the appointment of Buyani Zongwani to the office of National Director.

A press release announcing the appointment says Zongwani brings to MISA invaluable experience in the media fraternity, having served with distinction at Botswana Television before proceeding to join the Department of Information Technology under its E-Government Programme as a Project Manager, after which he became Strategy Manager.

MISA Botswana chapter family welcomes him on board and wishes to express utmost enthusiasm to have him and hopes that he will continue to stand up for Media and Human Rights in the SADC region. "We are confident that he will take up his new responsibility with zeal and foresight," said the Chairman of MISA Botswana, Modise Maphanyane. "We wish him all the best as he takes on his new assignment.
