Magistrate sets date for forgery case

FRANCISTOWN: Maun magistrate, Clifford Foroma, will tomorrow deliver a ruling on the case where employees of the Tawana Land Board are facing two counts of forgery and uttering by false pretences.

It is alleged that Castro Kemohilwe Molefhe (43) and Stephen Joseph Legodi (42), acting jointly and in concert on a date not known to prosecution, forged a Tawana Land Board Certificate of Customary Land Grant in Maun purporting it to be a certificate issued to Legodi by the Tawana Land board.

Molefhe works as a field assistant in while Legodi works as an accountant.
